Local & Global Ministries Partners       Wisconsin Lutheran High School is our area Lutheran High School supported by numerous WELS congregations.   Luther Preparatory School is a WELS High School which prepares and encourages young men and women for full-time ministry in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.   Wisconsin Lutheran College is a 4-year Liberal Arts College affiliated with the WELS and located in Milwaukee.     Martin Luther College is our synod's College of Ministry.  It exists to train future pastors, teachers, and staff ministers for the public ministry in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.   Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary provides theological training to prepare men to enter the pastoral ministry of the WELS or those in fellowship with the WELS.  It also provides theological and professional growth opportunities to those who are already serving in ministry.   Lutheran Women's Missionary Society is a service organization of women dedicated to serving Jesus by increasing awareness of, interest in, and support of Home and World mission outreach of the WELS.   WELS Kingdom Workers encourages and provides opportunities for WELS members to become personally involved in mission work both at home and abroad and provides financial support for some mission programs.   Wisconsin Lutheran Institutional Ministries  (WLIM) brings the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ to institutionalized men, women and children (and their families) in prisons, jails, hospitals, nursing homes, child & adolescent treatment centers, juvenile detention centers, mental health and drug & alcohol treatment centers.   Christian Life Resources has a resource center and services which provide counsel on a wide variety of family and life-related topics.     Jesus Cares Ministries (JCM) assists congregations in reaching out to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and communities. Their programs encourage Bible studies, worship and fellowship opportunities.   Northwestern Publishing House  is a publishing house with a retail store, open to the public. They strive to deliver Biblically sound Christ-centered resources within the WELS and beyond.   WELS Home and World Missions  Missions conducts gospel outreach in the United States, Canada, and 23 foreign countries through seed sowing and evangelism efforts, congregation and church planning, training ethnic and national workers for ministry, and providing religious materials in foreign languages.   WELS Multi-language Publications assists in translating and creating Biblically sound Christian literature a wide variety of languages to be used abroad and within our own country and neighborhoods.   https://www.homeformothers.com/ New Beginnings – A Home for Mothers, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides a loving and supportive place for single mothers to start a new life.
